Description:
Rubber Mastic Tape
Self-fusing rubber based compound bonded to a moisture sealing
mastic; all weather. Insulate, pad and seal bus bar and splice
connections.
2228 can be used on copper or aluminum conductors rated at 90°C,
with an emergency overload rating of 130°C. It offers excellent
resistance to moisture and ultraviolet exposure and is intended for
both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications.
Vinyl Mastic Tape(VM Tape)
Vinyl Mastic Tape is a rubber based mastic laminated to an
all-weather 7 mil (0.18 mm) vinyl, which provides double duty
protection in one wrap. Vinyl Mastic (VM) tape seals out moisture
and protects against corrosion without the need for heating tools
or using multiple tapes. VM tape is two tapes in one (vinyl and
mastic) and specifcally designed for cable sheath repair, splice
case and load coil case protection, auxiliary sleeve and cable reel
end sealing, drop wire insulating, conduit repair and protection of

Vinyl Plastic Tape
It is made of a PVC matte film coated with a non-corrosive adhesive
on one side, which can resist high voltage and cold well. It is a
low lead and low cadmium product. Application for electrically
insulation in wires and cables, especially for degaussing coils.
Scotch Tape 88T is a flame-retardant and non-corrosive tape that
has good elongation properties for superior conformability over the
most irregular splices. This tape is highly resistant to
weathering, salt water, alkalis and acid. The balanced electrical
and physical properties of the tape offer the ultimate in
insulating, protecting and holding. The high dielectric tape is
suitable for splicing, general insulating and taping end cap
applications.
